Mint Music Player (hereinafter referred to as "we") strictly complies with Apple App Store review guidelines and the Personal Information Protection Law of the People's Republic of China. This policy details how we handle your information, emphasizing:
- Core features (music playback, file transfer) do not collect personal information
- Sensitive permissions (camera, storage) only enabled after user authorization
- We never sell or share user data with third parties
I. Scope and Purpose of Information Collection
To achieve app functionality, we may process the following data:
1. Local Device Information
- Device Model & OS Version: For compatibility optimization (e.g., iOS 17+ player controls)
Collection Method: Automatically retrieved
- Storage Access: Scans local music files (MP3/FLAC, etc.) and album artwork
Usage: Music library import, custom cover upload
2. Permission Usage
- Local Network (Bonjour Protocol):
Purpose: Transfer playlists between devices (e.g., sync lyrics/songs from computer to iPhone)
Data: Only transmits song paths, audio files remain on local network
- Photos/Media Library:
Purpose: Set custom album covers, save screenshots
Scope: User-selected images only
- Camera:
Purpose: Capture new album covers/user avatars
Storage: Photos stored locally only, not uploaded
3. Operational Data (Non-Identifiable)
- Crash Logs: Collects anonymized stack traces via Apple Crashlytics SDK
Purpose: Fix crashes (e.g., decoder compatibility issues)
II. Third-Party Service Providers
