Pickleball Score Recorder ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Apple Watch application and related services.

1. Data Collection and Storage

A. Match & Player Data

We collect data related to your pickleball matches, including scores, game duration, and player names (teammates and opponents) that you manually input.

Storage: This data is stored locally on your device and synced to your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service. We (the developer) do not have access to your database, and we do not store your match history on our own servers.

B. HealthKit Data (Health App Integration)

To provide fitness analytics, our App integrates with Apple's HealthKit. Specifically, we request access to read and write the following data types during a workout session:

Heart Rate: To display your heart rate intensity during a match.
Active Energy (Calories): To track calories burned during the match.
Workouts: To save your pickleball session as a workout in the Apple Fitness app.

        Important regarding Health Data:
        
        We do NOT use your HealthKit data for advertising, marketing, or data mining purposes. We do NOT sell your health data to third parties. This data is processed strictly on your device to visualize your game statistics.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information solely for the following purposes:

To record and display your pickleball match scores and history.
To analyze your win rates and performance trends.
To display fitness metrics (calories/heart rate) associated with your matches.
To sync your data across your own Apple devices via iCloud.

3. Third-Party Services

We do not track you across other apps or websites. However, the App relies on services provided by Apple Inc.:

iCloud / CloudKit: Used for data storage and synchronization.
StoreKit: Used to process VIP subscriptions. Apple handles all payment transactions; we do not have access to your credit card information.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

Since data is stored on your device and your iCloud account:

Retention: Data is retained as long as the App is installed or until you delete specific records.
Deletion: You can delete specific players or matches within the App. If you delete the App and its data from your device settings, all local data is removed. To remove cloud data, you can manage your iCloud storage settings.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. You are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
